Protection for the repairs your Tundra could face.
Exact coverage depends on the plan, vehicle, age and mileage, but service agreements may help with many costly mechanical and electrical failures.
Not every vehicle needs the same protection.
That’s why we start with the vehicle first. Newer vehicles may qualify for broader protection, while higher-mileage vehicles may have different plan options.

Questions people usually ask first.
Is this a real Toyota Vehicle Service Agreement?
Yes. The Toyota product offered here is Toyota Extra Care, an optional Toyota-backed Vehicle Service Agreement made available through participating Toyota dealerships. Your actual agreement controls the coverage, terms, exclusions and eligibility.
Is this the same as my Toyota factory warranty?
No. Toyota’s factory warranty is included with an eligible new vehicle. A Toyota Vehicle Service Agreement is optional protection that can help with covered repair costs from mechanical breakdowns, including protection after the applicable factory warranty expires.
How is this different from a third-party extended warranty?
Toyota describes its VSA as Toyota-backed. Many aftermarket plans are backed by unrelated third-party companies, while Toyota Extra Care provides access to participating Toyota dealerships and factory-trained Toyota technicians. Always review the actual agreement before purchasing.
Can I use the plan at any Toyota dealership?
Toyota states its VSA can be used at participating Toyota dealerships in the United States and Canada. Coverage and servicing remain subject to the terms of your agreement.
Who performs covered repairs?
When serviced through the Toyota dealer network, Toyota says repairs are handled by factory-trained technicians using Toyota-approved parts, subject to the agreement and covered repair.
What does Toyota Extra Care cover?
Coverage depends on the plan selected. Toyota offers different protection levels, including Platinum, Gold and Powertrain options for eligible vehicles. Platinum is Toyota’s highest level of VSA protection. Your quote and agreement will identify the specific plan and covered components.
Does the VSA cover routine maintenance?
Generally, a Vehicle Service Agreement is designed for covered mechanical breakdowns rather than routine maintenance or normal wear items. Toyota offers separate prepaid maintenance products. The VSA agreement lists the exact exclusions and covered components.
Does coverage start when I buy the VSA?
It depends on the type of plan. For Toyota new-vehicle VSAs, time and mileage are generally measured from the vehicle’s original in-service date and zero miles. Other plan types can work differently. We will confirm the applicable term when quoting your vehicle.
Is my Toyota eligible?
Eligibility depends on the vehicle’s age, mileage, history, plan type and state. Toyota currently states that new-vehicle VSA eligibility extends up to 3 years or 36,000 total vehicle miles, whichever comes first. Submit your VIN and current mileage so we can verify eligibility.
What information do you need for a quote?
Start with your contact information, purchase date, VIN and current mileage. The VIN helps us confirm the exact vehicle and plan eligibility.
Do I have to buy the VSA from the dealership where I bought my Toyota?
Not necessarily. Toyota Extra Care VSAs are offered through participating Toyota dealerships. Eligibility and purchase rules depend on the type of vehicle and plan, so we will verify what is available for your Tundra Tundra.
What deductible options are available?
Toyota lists $0 and $100 disappearing-deductible options for certain VSA plans. With a disappearing deductible, the $100 deductible may be waived when eligible covered repairs are performed by the dealership that sold the VSA. Your available options will be shown with your quote.
Does Toyota Extra Care include roadside assistance?
Eligible Toyota Extra Care VSAs include 24/7 roadside assistance while the agreement is active. Benefits and restrictions vary by agreement, so review your contract for exact terms.
Does it include rental-car or substitute transportation coverage?
Toyota lists substitute transportation reimbursement as a benefit on eligible plans when requirements are met. Limits, prior-approval requirements and other restrictions apply.
What if my Toyota breaks down while I’m traveling?
Eligible plans may include roadside assistance and travel protection. Toyota also provides access to its participating dealer network in the U.S. and Canada. Specific reimbursement limits and conditions are defined by the agreement.
Can I transfer the VSA if I sell my Toyota?
Toyota states that eligible coverage can generally be transferred once from the original owner to a private-party purchaser at no cost, subject to the agreement. Transfers to dealers or businesses engaged in selling vehicles are excluded.
Can I cancel my Toyota VSA?
Toyota states that VSAs are cancellable. Its current consumer information says cancellation within 30 days may qualify for a full refund less a $50 processing fee where permitted by law, with prorated refunds generally applying later. State law and your specific agreement control the final terms.
Is purchasing a VSA required to finance my Toyota?
No. Toyota states that purchasing a Vehicle Service Agreement is optional and is not required to obtain credit.
Why buy through this site instead of sitting down with a finance manager?
The Toyota protection is the important part; we simply make the shopping process easier. You can send us your vehicle information online, receive available options and pricing, ask questions, and decide without spending time in a dealership finance office.
Can I get a quote without committing to buy?
Yes. Requesting a quote does not obligate you to purchase a Vehicle Service Agreement. We’ll use your vehicle information to determine available options and provide the details you need to decide.
